Philip, son of Philip, was living at `Mulberry Grove' when his grandfather, George, devised to him the land on which he then lived (300 acres Mulberry Grove).

On 18 Dec., 1759, he bought from Josiah Wallace, 100 acres in the forest of Murderkill Hundred (Kent Co. Deeds Pl:180). He sold 3 acres to Deborah Williams on 13 Nov. 1761 (Kent Deeds QI:67) and the rest of the land to Thomas Horn on 10 May 1763 (Kent Deeds QI:129).

(Individual note) Grandfather George Truitt left Jethro 95 acres of Truitt's Harbor. He also patented a 50 acre tract called Geroge's Addition. Jethro died before 22 July 1774 when his widow was named administratrix of his estate. Naomi Richardson and James McSadden (McFadden?) were named nearest of his kin in his inventory 16 Dec 1774 (Worc. Invt. 121: 302). His account of 12 May 1775 showed that his widow recieved half the estate (as childless) and other heirs were his mother, brothers, and sisters (Md. Accts. 73: 159).
