(Individual note) George and his wife Patience sold their land in Accomac County, Virginia and moved to Bogerternortin Hundred, Worcester County, Maryland in 1725-27. He owned 'Long Lot' (80 acres), 'Forlorn Hope' (50 acres), and 'Lean Heath' (106 acres. After moving to Worcester Co., Md., this George was known as 'Accomack George' or 'George Accomack' to distinguish him from the other George Truitts in the area.

(Individual note) In hiw will, written 11 March 1755, he left bequests to sons Henry and George and daughters Comfort Bowen, Rachel, Ann Pennell, granddaughter Leah, daughter of son George.

(Individual note) George Truitt, son of Henry Truitt, Deceased, received 100 acres headrights 'at the seaboard' in Accomac County on an island north of an island called Walston's Choice, land due him for transporting two persons in April 1691.
