(Individual note) EMS recalls him walking along, holding her by the hand and telling her the most wonderful stories, which she is sure he made up as he went along. He had white hair and the blues eyes ever seen. EMS' cousin Eunice Goodwin Overman said that he always wore black, even black shirts. Strangely, he so strongly resembled his brother-in-law, George W. Parsons, that on a visit, his daughter Beatrice insisted that a picture of G. W. Parsons was in fact, a picture of Uncle Lev, EMS relates.
